this is very pretty ,thanks for this vid, its amazing,its like the fairy tales,but thanks to India this is real,a wonderfull cradle of culture,with love from Mexico.
Its true urdu.Old Indian Songs were written by using Urdu.Now Indian movie songs use a little bit of Hindi words as well.Shehryar n Khayyam did wat Shakeel n Naushad used to do in old days.
Khayyamji was the 1st one to bring ghazal culture in the bollywood movies i guess…
sharyar’s lyrics, ashaji’s voice n rekhaji’s acting….awesome..
despite being a youth i cud say that its sad that we r growing up in a time whr “aahoon-aahoon” n “ooooo hoozoor” songs are getting popular..

This song always leaves me teary-eyed even though I’ve listened to it and watched the film tens of times! Umrao and her mother’s reunions is so cruelly brief…oh no! I need a kleenex again!
